Wood Wood & adidas Add Natural Colors and Branding to UltraBOOST 19
Cream and olive shoes complement a tonal capsule of running apparel.

Copenhagen-based fashion brand Wood Wood recently unveiled two collaborative colorways of the adidas UltraBOOST 19, accompanied by a complementary collection of running apparel. The collaboration is part of the adidas Run City Pack, which will include four capsule running collections created in partnership with four different brands – Wood Wood, Universal Works, NEIGHBORHOOD and lifestyle imprint Monocle.
The first of the UltraBOOST 19 colorways is a cream-colored silhouette that boasts contrasting rust and white details. The Primeknit upper, heel cage and branding are a tonal cream, while the inner lining and frontal tag take on a striking rust color. adidas branding can be seen front and center on the lateral side of the shoe, while Wood Wood takes to the medial side with its logo atop three embossed stripes signature to its collaborator.
Completing the pair is an olive-colored edition that deviates from its counterpart’s tonal structure. Olive green can be seen throughout the knit upper and heel cage, while the adidas and Wood Wood branding add some contrast in an off-white hue. A gold inner lining and laces add a cheerful pop of color. Both colorways are finished off with a white BOOST midsole, signature to the silhouette.
In addition to the UltraBOOST 19 offerings, the Wood Wood-designed running capsule features an array of earth-toned running gear, as seen in the desert-themed campaign imagery above. Tonal graphics symbolize the shifting height and shape of different terrains, lending an additional pop of visual interest to the tonal hoodie, T-shirt and pants. Co-branding connected with a swirling arrow graphic appears on the items, a playful nod to the experience of getting lost. “We wanted to draw attention to that sense of running without a purpose, of going places that you didn’t necessarily know you were going to,” explained Brian Jensen, co-founder of Wood Wood.
The Wood Wood x adidas capsule will be available beginning November 15 on Wood Wood’s site and select stockists. Both UltraBOOST 19 colorways will retail for approximately $224 USD. The adidas Run City Pack will release in four drops separated by brand throughout November and December 2019.
