Less than a week after the release of his Statue of Limitations EP with Benny the Butcher and Pete Rock, Smoke DZA is introducing another high-profile collaborative project. This time around, the 35-year-old New York City emcee is reconnecting with Curren$y for a joint EP dubbed Prestige Worldwide. For the lead single in support of their forthcoming EP, DZA and Curren$y are serving up a Rook-directed visual for a MonstaBeatz-produced collaboration known as “3 Minute Manual.” Notably, the clip for “3 Minute Manual” was shot in Curren$y’s hometown of New Orleans, and chronicles a trip the Prestige Worldwide duo recently took.

“We share game every time we record, this was 3mins of it caught on camera,” Smoke DZA shared via an official press statement sent to Billboard.

“I had everybody up in arms in my comments ’cause I f*ckin’ put Yachty [on a song] but that’s f*ckin’ the homie and I feel like he can rap,” Curren$y explained to us during an August 2018 episode of our MIC/LINE podcast, breaking down his approach to collaborating with other rappers. “Lil Yachty can rap, you have to listen to it. When you play it back and hear the structure of shit, dude can spit.”

You can take a look at the new music video for Smoke DZA and Curren$y’s “3 Minute Manual” single above. The aforementioned pair’s upcoming joint EP, Prestige Worldwide, will see release on November 29 via Cinematic Music Group. Besides MonstaBeatz, DZA and Curren$y’s new project also includes beats from 183rd, Girl Talk, Buda Da Future and Grandz Muzik.
