New Trailer for 'SCOOB!' Shows Origin of Shaggy and Scooby-Doo

The first full-length trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures upcoming Scooby-Doo movie SCOOB! showcases the origin story of Shaggy, the titular talking dog, and the first formation of Mystery Inc.

In the footage above, we see Scooby and Shaggy meeting for the first time on a beach, with Shaggy saving Scoob from the authorities and taking him in. We see Scoob receive his name, his trademark blue collar, the how the duo met Fred, Daphne, and Velma. Will Forte will play Shaggy, with Frank Welker retaining his voice acting role as Scooby-Doo. Jason Isaac’s will voice Dick Dastardly, Tracy Morgan will voice Captain Caveman, Zac Efron will voice Fred, Gina Rodriguez voices Velma, Amanda Seyfried is Daphne, and Mark Wahlberg plays Blue Falcon.

SCOOB! is directed by Tony Cervone (Space Jame), and is scheduled to release May 15, 2020.
