Lil Keed Becomes a Cowboy in Western-Themed "Snake" Visual
A highlight of his ‘Long Live Mexico’ tape.
Earlier this month, Lil Keed appeared on the latest single from Canadian duo 88GLAM, “Bankroll.” Now, the fast-rising Atlanta rapper is redirecting the focus back to his solo efforts by unveiling a new music video for his Long Live Mexico record “Snake.” One of 20 songs on Lil Keed’s Long Live Mexico project, “Snake” boasts production from the pairing of CuBeatz and Pyrex Whippa, while its Western-inspired visual component comes to us courtesy of director Greene.
“He pulled up in the apartments … he came out there in an Aventador,” Lil Keed told us during a July exchange for our Conversations With seriess, opening up about the origins of his relationship with his label-boss Young Thug. “His mama told him, ‘you need to sign this kid, he really can rap.’ He came and signed me.”
“I’m goin’ right in / And these pockets, I’m rising / Just know that we tied in / And that p*ssy, I dive right in,” Lil Keed raps during “Snake.” “Before the license, I was driving / Set ‘em up like a tent, finna get stretched / Just like Grinch, takin’ that shit.”
