ORIGINAL STORY (Nov 7, 2019): Back in April, 88GLAM released 88GLAM2.5, a special resissue of their sophomore project from 2018, which featured contributions from Lil Yachty and NAV. Now, setting their sights on the rollout for their next major full-length release, the rising Canadian duo are teaming up with Atlanta star-in-the-making Lil Keed for their latest single, “Bankroll.” Notably, “Bankroll” serves as the lead single for 88GLAM’s forthcoming studio project, which will reportedly hit streaming services and similar platforms in 2020.
“We were amped making ‘Bankroll’ and had the opportunity to record it out In Atlanta with Keed,” 88GLAM explain in an official statement sent to HotNewHipHop. “We are excited to be back.”
“Being able to compromise and meet each other halfway, it is like being brothers … You have to learn how to share everything,” 88 Camino shared with Billboard during 2018 interview, sharing some insight into 88GLAM’s collaborative creative process. “We meet in the middle … We work with each other. You know what I mean? We definitely have different personalities, but we compromise because there is a bigger end goal. We understand that between each other, and it helps us. I don’t know. Chemistry just lives, [while] sharing. That is how I see it.”
