SMG Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Rainbow-Indebted Capsule Collection
Reworking its logo for a hoodie, cap and luggage strap.
Following the unveiling of its celebratory store opening in Shanghai, concept retailer SMG — aka “Still Moving Under Gun Fire” — has released a 10th-anniversary capsule collection.
The capsule is comprised of a hoodie, cap and luggage strap adorned with rainbow colors that rework the imprint’s signature military-inspired aesthetic and type font. SMG’s hoodie features an embroidered graphic that combines the reworked branding and utilitarian star placement on the front and back of the garment, and is accompanied by the branding “SMGXSMG” and “10TH ANNI,” which further note the anniversary.
This hoodie is finished with more embroidery on the sleeves and rainbow-hued drawcords for the hood. This same design is embroidered onto the front of a matching black cap, and can also be found on the luggage strap, which could be doubled up as a styling accessory.
