fragment design & John Smedley Collaborate on Crewneck Essentials
Made with English Sea Island Cotton.

After unveiling its collaboration with Nike and CLOT, fragment design has returned, this time teaming up with John Smedley, for the very first time, to deliver a series of monochromatic knit crewnecks — something Hiroshi Fujiwara himself wears often.
In usual Fujiwara style, the essentials come in skinny plastic sealed packaging, emblazoned with fragment’s twin lighting bolts logo and heavy “John Smedley” branding. Made in England, the crewnecks are part of the label’s Sea Island Cotton knitwear line, which uses a special Merino fabric that can withstand up to 40°c in a wash cycle. The front of the crewnecks have been kept clean and minimal, while a white nametag patch appears close to the bottom right hem. As a finishing note, the sweaters have been subtly tweaked from its original cut, showcasing a slightly wider collar and a knitted motif under the left armpit.
fragment design x John Smedley knitwear will be available at johnsmedley.jp for $284 USD.
