Snoh Aalegra Delivers New Single for 'Godfather of Harlem,' "Wolves Are Out Tonight"
Another high-profile artist contributes to the EPIX series’ soundtrack.
Another new, high-profile record in support of the EPIX series Godfather of Harlem has emerged. This time around, Snoh Aalegra is following up Pusha T and Swizz Beatz’s recent collaborative single “No Patience” by adding her own solo effort to Godfather of Harlem‘s rollout, “Wolves Are Out Tonight.” Notably, “Wolves Are Out Tonight” features production from Swizz Beatz, who signed up to be Godfather of Harlem‘s executive music producer.
“As soon as I heard the voice of Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson I knew music is my calling,” Snoh Aalegra recently shared with HYPEBAE. “[I've] never been more sure on anything in my life. I just fell in love with music in a way I can’t really explain with words. It’s a strong feeling, it’s love at its highest.”
“I’m lucky to be trilingual and to be multicultural – it’s really inspired and influenced me as a a person and musician. Thanks to understanding different cultures, I have a easier time connecting with people all over the world … It’s kind of the only way I know how to make music. By telling my truth,” Snoh Aalegra added, opening up about her songwriting and creative process. “You can’t fake the frequency of truth and I believe people feel you for real when you give them you.”
