On October 8th, the Swedish singer previewed her track, “Run Free,” on her social media pages, giving fans their first taste of her upcoming project, A Legendary Love. The anticipated album will be Snoh’s first full-length project since 2021’s Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies.
“Run Free” is yet another addition to Snoh’s long list of timeless ballads, and her first new music since 2023, with this song particularly fitting as the soundtrack to the end of a coming-of-age film. The Prince and 80s pop influence is apparent in the song’s exquisite production, as in typical Snoh Aalegra fashion, she fuses classic soul with modern textures, creating a cinematic, soulful soundscape of love, heartbreak, and introspection.
