Alpha Industries has unveiled the Triple Black Pack for FW26, reworking the MA-1 Heritage, B-15 Intermediate Flight Jacket and CWU-45 Heritage in black from the outer shell through to the lining and tag. The result is a trio of the brand’s core flight jackets stripped of every contrasting element.
The concept comes from footwear. In sneaker circles, “triple black” describes a shoe where the upper, midsole and outsole all share the same black finish. Alpha Industries maps that three-part formula directly onto its jackets, with the shell, the lining and the tag standing in for those three zones.
The lining is where the change lands hardest. Contrast linings have been a defining feature of Alpha’s flight jackets for decades, none more recognizable than the bright orange inside the MA-1. Here, that pop of color is gone entirely. With black running through every layer, the jackets now present a single, unbroken tone, so the look stays consistent whether the zip is done up or the front hangs open.
The silhouettes themselves remain familiar. The MA-1 Heritage, B-15 Intermediate Flight Jacket and CWU-45 Heritage each keep the shapes Alpha fans already know, with the all-black treatment serving as the sole transformation. That restraint keeps the focus on color as the design statement, letting the blacked-out finish do the work.
The Alpha Industries Triple Black Pack is available now online, at selected retailers and the Alpha Industries Store in Frankfurt am Main.
