Back in July of 2018, Pink Sweat$ picked up his biggest record yet with the debut of the hit-single “Honesty.” Now, millions upon millions of streams and YouTube views later, the aforementioned record is receiving an official remix courtesy of Jessie Reyez.
“I wrote my first song when I was seven or eight. I was listening to a lot of TLC at the time. The lyrics were influenced by ‘Waterfalls,’ something about not growing up too fast. It was awful,” Jessie Reyez shared with HYPEBAE during a 2018 interview for BAEWATCH, sharing some insight into her origins.
“Honest. Human. Contrasting,” Reyez added when discussing her creative and songwriting process. “I try to be open but sometimes it is hard to find a medium. When I talk about things I struggle but when I sing, it’s easier. We’re talking right now and it’s like a dance. I go, you go. Sometimes you want to let out a full train of thought, but you have to respect one another. That’s the beauty of a song; it’s like a letter. You can just open the faucet and let it go until it’s empty.”

Towards the end of last month, Pink Sweat$ linked up with Crush for a smooth cut titled “I Wanna Be Yours.”
