Footpatrol and The North Face Present '90s-Inspired Collection
With a lookbook featuring rising UK artist Nafe Smallz
As a long-standing bastion of UK sneaker culture, Footpatrol knowns London like few others, so it’s teamed up with The North Face to create a capsule that’s perfect for the Big Smoke’s winter streets. Taking a deep dive into TNF’s archives, Footpatrol took inspiration from ’90s expedition wear while dressing its collection in a monochromatic black and grey palette that’s accented by a striking shade of regal purple.
Presented in a lookbook helmed by rising UK grime/rap artist Nafe Smallz, the collection is cold and colorful at the same time. It’s centered around a signature Mountain Light Jacket that’s constructed with TNF’s durable-yet-breathable DryVent fabric and equipped with boldly-colorblocked accents. Several special details are present as well, ranging from a travel pass pocket concealed in the forearm to a detachable mask that salutes Footpatrol’s signature Gasmask logo.

There’s also a black and purple Half-Zip Pullover that combines fleece and nylon in equal measures, plus a Mountain Gore ball cap. Last — but certainly not least — the offerings are rounded off by a Trail Fire Road hiker. This modernized take on a rugged silhouette features a heavily layered upper with a diamond pattern membrane on the mudguard. Footpatrol branding runs up the throat and tongue, while a GORE-TEX membrane ensures that the wearer’s feet stay warm and dry.
The Footpatrol x The North Face collection will release at Footpatrol‘s London and Paris locations on November 15, then roll out to select TNF stores in Europe on November 22. The retail prices range from £45 GPB (approximately $58 USD) for the hat to £240 GPB (approximately $310 USD) for the jacket.
This isn’t the first sneaker boutique collaboration TNF has done this season: it also teamed with Sneakersnstuff for a 20th anniversary collection back in October.
