Sneakersnstuff Continues 20th Anniversary Celebration with The North Face Capsule
Looking back to 1966 with its colorful prints.
It’s been an even 20 years since Sneakersnstuff first opened the gates of its original store in Stockholm, so the now-global footwear retailers have been celebrating with special projects all year long, the latest of which is a tie-dye printed collection with The North Face.
Inspired by TNF’s salad days as a small Californian company, the new capsule channels the free spirit of 1966’s famous Summer of Love with its purple and turquoise tie-dye accents. The centerpiece of the apparel offerings is the all-over printed Nuptse Jacket, but there’s also a Denali Fleece jacket/pants set and an adjustable cap, all of which feature co-branded detailing.
On the footwear front, the Back to Berkley Boot — a hiking boot reinterpreted for the city but still more than capable on the trails — boasts an insulated, fully waterproof construction with rich leather overlays. Tie-dye elements provide flair, and a grippy rubber outsole rounds off the mix of style and performance.
The entire collection will release on October 19 at Sneakersnstuff’s stores in Stockholm, Berlin, London, New York, Paris, and Los Angeles, as well as via raffle on the SNS app. Prices range from $39 USD for the logo hat to $269 USD for the Nuptse jacket.
