After a teaser of the collaboration was released recently, Sneakersnstuff has now given an official look at its upcoming exclusive Nike Air Max Tailwind IV release. Designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the sneaker’s launch in 1999, the shoe is inspired by an unreleased Nike Air Tailwind colorway from 1979.
This design sees “Cobalt Tint” around the sneaker’s upper, offset with “Sail” on the side panels and toe box and a “Chrome Yellow” pinstripe pattern on the tongue and ankle collar. Other features include a gold lining, a yellow embroidered Swoosh and an all-black midsole unit. The upper is constructed from mesh, nubuck, suede, textile, leather and foam. The sneaker is then finished with Air Max branding on one tongue and special 20th anniversary branding on the other.
The Nike Air Max Tailwind IV “20th Anniversary” will release exclusively at Sneakersnstuff physical locations and web store on September 19.
In other Nike news, a third possible Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low colorway has emerged.
