Takashi Murakami continues his longstanding collaboration with the Japanese manga, ‘Doraemon.’ Murakami will showcase new works inspired by the cartoon at Perrotin Tokyo as part of an exhibition aptly entitled “Superflat Doraemon.” The iconic artist has created a series of new pieces that feature characters from Fujiko F. Fujio’s cult franchise alongside his unmissable ‘Flowers’ motifs. The show will mark Murakami’s 13th solo exhibition with Perrotin and the first to be held at Perrotin Tokyo.
View select works above and then visit Perrotin’s website to learn more. The exhibition will be open to the public starting November 19.
Elsewhere in art, Daniel Arsham crafted ‘Eroded Brillo Boxes’ in homage to Andy Warhol.
