Max B Details New 'House of Money' EP & Shares Footage from Upcoming Documentary
His first new on-screen appearance since 2009.
Three months after making a guest appearance on Dave East’s Survival Pacc project, Max B is revealing plans for a new EP and detailing the project. Adding to that news, the 41-year-old NYC rapper is also releasing a brief clip from his own documentary, labeling the teaser as “Max B Speaks On His Musical Influences.” Notably, the upcoming Max B documentary will give the rapper his first on-camera appearance since 2009.
“I always love music … since I remember. Back in them days, it was like Dougie Fresh, Slick Rick. I was a big Slick Rick fan,” Max B tells the interviewer sitting opposite from him in the newly-liberated clip from his documentary. “I ain’t really touch it and start writing til I got a little older — like 18, then I start taking it serious … I found the tranquility in writing and stuff like that.”
You can take a look at the tracklist for Max B’s forthcoming EP House Money below, while a previously-unseen clip from his new documentary can be viewed above.
