Disney+ Announces Launch Dates for United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy & Spain
With launch dates for other territories expected to be announced soon.
As Disney+ prepares to launch in North America on November 12, the Walt Disney Company has announced the streaming service’s official launch date in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain for March 31, 2020.
All of Disney’s original movies and TV shows such as The Mandalorian, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, WandaVision and Hawkeye will be available on the streaming service across all territories. Feature films will differ per location, however, due to distribution rights. North America is set to launch with around 640 programs including titles from Marvel Studios, Lucasfilms, Disney Channel Original Movies, animated series and content from the 21st Century Fox acquisition.
While the price for Disney+ in North America falls at $6.99 USD per month and $69.99 USD a year, the entertainment company has yet to announce further details for European subscribers.
In case you missed it, Disney+ is reportedly working on a reboot of The Mighty Ducks.
