Nike Unveils Air Max 270 Inspired By the Philippines
Resembling the Southeast Asian country’s flag.
Shortly after joining the NIKEiD family of customizable sneakers, Nike’s Air Max 270 unveils its latest colorway, which bears a close resemblance to the Filipino flag. Mirroring the hues and design of the country’s emblem, the bi-colored scarlet and royal blue bands are represented along the bottom portion of the shoe while the white triangle embraces most of the upper. The golden-yellow stars representing the main island groups and central star are depicted throughout the details of the sneaker, including the side Swoosh.
This iteration of the Nike Air Max 270 is expected to retail for $150 USD and hit shelves sometime in October. If you’re a fan of this design, be sure to also check out the recent purple colorway of the Air Max 270 Bowfin.
