A Martine Rose x Nike Air Monarch Could Be in the Works
And might set you back $250 USD.
The infamous dad shoe by Nike could be getting a luxe rework, according to leaker account @py_rates. The sportswear giant is reportedly working with London-based designer Martine Rose to revamp the Air Monarch sneaker. While no images of the rumored collaboration have been made available, the potential renders below depict an iteration featuring an all-black upper with soft pink details, along with a model in a white/black/navy/silver colorway. While the basic Air Monarch IV can be picked up at just about any big box store for around $60 USD, it appears that this collaboration could retail at around $250 USD.
The sneakers are expected to release sometime in October of this year, which if true, could have us seeing official images real soon.

Nike has been capitalizing on the popularity of the chunky shoe trend and steadily reworking the classic sneaker, as evidenced by the recent “Weekend Campout” version and modern upgrades with the M2K Tekno.
