LeBron James Covers Latest Issue of 'Sports Illustrated' With Other Laker Greats
Focusing on James’s big move to LA.
Following the news that LeBron James was moving to the LA Lakers, reactions were mixed; Kobe Bryant responded positively, as did numerous fans who immediately bought up James’s “23” Lakers jersey. However, others were less pleased, with one dissenter offering a bounty to anyone willing to deface a LeBron mural. The latest issue of Sports Illustrated seeks to break down the logistics of the move, explaining “why the move was meant to be.” The cover sees LeBron staring down some of the team’s most iconic members as if he’s poised to join their ranks.
Look for the new issue to hit newsstands soon. Most recently, James officially confirmed that he signed the $154 million USD Lakers contract.
