A Closer Look at Nike's Hybrid Air Max 90/1 Silhouette
Coming in the classic “Sport Red” colorway.
After images of the Nike Air Max 90/1 sneaker first emerged last month, a closer look at the hybrid silhouette has now been revealed. The sneaker is the latest Nike silhouette to fuse two different designs — following Skepta’s Air Max 97 BW and Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max 1/97 — with an Air Max 1 upper sitting atop the midsole unit from the Air Max 90.
The first release of the hybrid sneaker sees it come in the now-iconic “Sport Red” colorway of the original Air Max 1. The sneaker features a predominantly white upper, with grey overlays and “University Red” touches of premium leather around the mudgard and Swoosh branding.
