A Closer Look at Skepta's Hybrid Nike Air Max 97 BW

After images of Skepta‘s third Nike collaboration – after a “Blacklisted” BW and last years “SKAir” — surfaced recently, an official look at the sneaker has now been revealed. The silhouette is a hybrid between the London-born MC’s previous releases, with an Air Max BW upper sitting atop an Air Max 97 midsole.
The clean “Summit White” uppers are offset with flashes of color, with red appearing on the right shoe’s Swoosh, air unit and footbed while a “Hyper Cobalt” blue occupies the same positions on the left. Other detailing includes Skepta’s custom Nike logo on the footbed and sole unit, flashes of color in the laces, and a honeycomb pattern across the mesh upper.
