Lana Del Rey Shares Cover of "You Must Love Me"
A modern take of Madonna’s 1996 classic.
With the controversial Radiohead plagiarism accusations now behind her, Lana Del Rey, the Lust For Life songstress, is now finally able to get back to the music.
Today, after coincidentally sharing a song last month called “Blue Madonna,” the singer drops off a cover of the 1996 classic, “You Must Love Me” – the song originally recorded by Madonna as part of the Evita movie which she also starred in.
Del Rey’s Madonna cover will be included as part of renowned musical composer, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s upcoming album comprised of his greatest hits, in addition to various guest features including Lana Del Rey. The project will also serve as commemoration to the music legend’s 70th birthday. Listen in above.
