Following the release of its custom arcade and apparel, Kith is expanding its Marvel vs. Capcom collection with ASICS, offering a footwear collection dedicated to the game. This new series features iconic ASICS silhouettes, reimagined through the color schemes of classic Marvel and Capcom characters and their matchups.
The lineup includes four distinct drops, including two double-box Sets with a set of rival characters — GEL-Nimbus 10.1 “Iron Man vs. Mega Man” and GEL-KAYANO 12.1 “Captain America vs. Guile”, and also two individual Pairs — GEL-Kayano 14 “Ryu” and GEL-Kayano 14.1 “Wolverine.”
Each sneaker pays direct homage to its respective character’s iconic uniform. For example, the “Iron Man” pair features bright red and gold tones, while the “Ryu” model uses a white color scheme with red accents, nodding to his martial arts top and headband. Further completing the theme, each release comes in a custom shoe box printed with the corresponding Marvel vs. Capcom character graphics.
The double-box sets are priced at $450 USD, and the individual pairs are set at $220 USD. The Kith x Marvel vs. Capcom x ASICS Collection is scheduled for release on November 14, available both online and in-store at Kith.
