The actress posted a series of behind-scenes photos from the production of Christy and thanked her fans who went for the Christy opening weekend, “thank you to everyone who saw, felt, and believed and will believe in this story for years to come.” She continued, “we don’t make art for numbers, we make it for impact. and christy has been the most impactful project of my life. thank you christy. i love you.”
Just like her two recent films, Americana and Eden, Christy only made $2 million USD during its opening weekend against its $15 million USD budget.
