Action Bronson Teases New Balance 1906R Collaboration
Another pair of colorful kicks from the rapper.
Just under a year ago, rapper and chef Action Bronson revealed that he was taking his talents to New Balance by presenting his own colorful version of the then newly-released 990v6. Since then, he’s established himself as one of the brand’s key collaborators with two successful 990v6 launches under his belt and a third to possibly come. Now, following the reveal of a previously-unseen take on the 1906R in June, Bronson has teased a collaborative pair.

With Taylor Swift spotted in the GANNI x New Balance 1906R this week and upcoming collaborations on the silhouette courtesy of Salehe Bembury and AURALEE, it’s safe to say the model has reached a new peak in popularity. As Action Bronson enters the mix with his own colorway, he looks to emphasize the linework of the shoe’s overlays with contrasting layers and a bright-blue midsole that seemingly revisits the hue last spotted on his 990v6 “Lapis Lazuli.”
No release info regarding this Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R in blue has been disclosed by either party just yet. However, stay tuned as additional imagery and word of its launch procedure should come in the following weeks.
