Action Bronson Previews a Colorful New Balance 1906R Colorway
The rapper’s next possible team-up contains vivid yellow, orange and green accents.
New Balance certainly made its presence felt during Paris Fashion Week Men’s SS24 as numerous collaborations were debuted on the runway and through its various energy partners. Amongst the latter were rapper and chef Action Bronson who took the liberty of debuting a fresh New Balance 1906R colorway.
There’s speculation that this new installment could be Bronson’s next collaborative effort, but neither the rapper nor the Boston sportswear imprint has confirmed this information. Regardless, the first snapshot of the new kicks reveals that it will bear a colorful base layer. Buttery suede toe tip overlays have been dyed with a rustic orange hue and complemented with bold yellow forefoot and quarter panels and bright green cages on the heels. One call-out is that this makeup departs from the traditional mesh underlays and utilizes a streak-textured build for the toe boxes and side panels. Furthermore, a muted gray fills in the mesh tongues, lateral and medial overlays and midsoles.

In case you missed it, Salehe Bembury also teased a potential New Balance 1906R colorway with metallic silver overlays and fiery gradient accents.
