Update: October is upon us and Halloween is just around the corner. Per usual, Nike is celebrating spooky season with various holiday-themed looks touching down on silhouettes such as the Air Force 1 Low. This year, the Nike SB team is joining in on the fun with a “Candy Corn” rendition of its SB Dunk High. Previewed previously, a leak of Nike’s official imagery of the shoe has just arrived. It’s packed with nods to the candy that is associated with the holiday and is expected to release by the end of the month via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops. Stay tuned for a release date and review our previous coverage below for more info.

Update: Halloween may still be over three months away, however, brands are gearing up for the frightful night with various themed looks such as the Nike Ja 1 “Halloween” that just popped up. Following an initial preview, the SB Dunk High “Sweet Tooth” has surfaced with a closer look at the pair via on-foot images. Various candy corn-inspired elements such as the bite marks at the toe and warning label at the collar give the pair a fitting finish. Original Story: Throughout recent years, Nike has celebrated holidays such as Halloween with thematic sneaker releases. Last year, this included the Dunk Low with “Scream Green” accents joining “Phantom” detailing in a subtle-yet-recognizable take on the spooky season. In 2021, the Hypebeast team assembled a thorough list of the holiday’s best kicks, which may see a new addition with this year’s newly-previewed SB Dunk High.

For Halloween 2023, Nike has prepared a “Sweet Tooth” colorway that takes on the appearance of candy corn — a treat typically associated with this frightful time of year. Its upper features a gradient effect that goes from white at the toe to orange at the midfoot and yellow around the heel. Orange Swooshes outlined with a mustard hue add to the theme alongside the toe box including a bite mark. A thematic tongue tag includes a warning that states “DO NOT TAKE CANDY FROM STRANGERS” at the interior. Rounding things out, the sockliner displays an all-over print with candy corn spread throughout.

While no release details regarding the Nike SB Dunk High “Sweet Tooth” have been shared just yet, you can expect this pair to hit shelves in October via Nike and select skate shops to coincide with Halloween. Stay tuned for official information and imagery pertaining to this much-anticipated colorway.

For more of the latest news regarding Nike SB’s footwear lineup this year, an early preview of a collaboration with Japanese label TIGHTBOOTH on the SB Dunk Low has surfaced.
