London’s Victoria & Albert Museum has announced that it will open a new exhibition dedicated entirely to the four-decade career of supermodel Naomi Campbell next year.

Titled “Naomi,” the expansive showcase is scheduled to remain on view from June 22, 2024, to April 6, 2025. It’s set to include a wide array of the model’s career-defining looks from designers including Alexander McQueen, Azzedine Alaïa, Gianni and Donatella Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood, Yves Saint Laurent and more.

British Vogue‘s Edward Enniful has curated a portion of the exhibition with iconic imagery from the model’s portfolio, shot by legendary fashion photographers, including Nick Knight, Steven Meisel and Tim Walker, among others. Alongside Campbell’s fashion prowess, the exhibition will also highlight her various philanthropy works, like her campaign for The Diversity Coalition alongside Iman and Bethann Hardison, her becoming part of the Black Girls Coalition in 1989 and her founding of Emerge, a global initiative focused on sourcing alternative education routes for burgeoning creatives from Africa, the Diaspora and developing parts of the world.

“I’m honored to be asked by the V&A to share my life in clothes with the world,” Campbell said in a statement.

Sonnet Stanfill, the V&A Museum’s senior curator of fashion, added, “Naomi Campbell’s extraordinary career intersects with the best of high fashion. She is recognized worldwide as a supermodel, activist, philanthropist and creative collaborator, making her one of the most prolific and influential figures in contemporary culture.”
