Hello Kitty Joins adidas Originals for Three Footwear Styles
Featuring looks on the Superstar, Forum Low and Astir.
Sanrio’s most iconic character, Hello Kitty, has been spotted across the fashion and footwear world with yet another year of exciting collaborations. Recently, this has included a Spring/Summer 2023 runway appearance with Soulland and a capsule collection with Nike. Now, she ditches the Swoosh in favor of the Stripes as adidas Originals presents three footwear styles featuring Hello Kitty themed looks.
The footwear range begins with the adidas Superstar featuring the top of Hello Kitty’s iconic head on the lateral heel alongside a polka dotted heel tab, co-branded tongue and multicolored lacing system. Next, the adidas Forum Low blends a thematic color palette of pink, red and white with black overlays carrying white polka dots. Hello Kitty’s head is also featured prominently on the lateral as well. Lastly, the adidas Astir rounds out the styles with her bowtie at the collar, pink and red laces, co-branded tongue and white polka dots resting on the upper’s black suede base. Each pair is presented in a special collaborative box with a hangtag that features Hello Kitty in a classic adidas tracksuit.
Release has begun in select regions including Saudi Arabia, however, a stateside launch has not yet been announced by the Three Stripes. Take an official look at the three styles above and keep an eye out for a global release via adidas and select retailers in the coming months.
