HYSTERIC GLAMOUR and Kiko Kostadinov Tease ASICS Collaboration
Laura and Deanna Fanning’s womenswear line reveals more from its upcoming HYSTERIC GLAMOUR collaboration.
As collaborations become increasingly common, they continue to increase in complexity. In recent years, it hasn’t been rare to see multiple designers, brands and franchises connect to create a project. Now, the upcoming HYSTERIC GLAMOUR x Kiko Kostadinov womenswear collection, while already an energetic combination, is set to further electrify the scene with a collaborative ASICS sneaker on the way. Secretly revealed in the collection’s first video teaser, an image of the sneaker has been officially shared by Kiko Kostadinov on Instagram.
Based on the shoe’s first looks, silver and pink serve as the colors to outfit this pair while ASICS branding covers the tongue and HYSTERIC GLAMOUR x Kiko Kostadinov branding lands on the heel. Its upper most notably features a lacing system that looks to weave across the tongue and opts to utilize a Velcro ending on the lateral, removing the need to ever tie the shoelace. Lastly, the sneaker is supported by a unique sole unit that features a glossy pink finish with various geometric sections.
Release information regarding the collaborative ASICS sneaker and the HYSTERIC GLAMOUR x Kiko Kostadinov collection it accompanies is limited. Based on it being in partnership with Kiko Kostadinov’s womenswear line, the shoe is expected to launch in women’s sizing. A full reveal or initial launch in Japan is expected to take place at the end of October as hinted at in the teaser post below.
