Before the clock strikes midnight and the year transitions into 2023, ASICS is making sure it slides in as many collaborative projects as it can. It recently linked up with A.P.C. for a GEL-SONOMA 15-50 interaction as well as atmos for a GEL-LYTE III makeup that’s smothered in bandana prints, and now it’s extending its catalog with a fashion-forward GEL-MJ collaboration with SHUSHU/TONG.

The Shanghai-based brand has prepared two simple-yet-striking colorways of the lifestyle silhouette, both of which are equipped with oversized bows that are attached to the throat. Much like how Vivienne Westwood equipped its ASICS GEL-KAYANO 26 with netting back in 2020, SHUSHU/TONG’s interpretation of the ASICS model is simple yet results in an elevated look and feel. The first offering arrives completely dripped out in navy for a more understated aesthetic. Its release sibling is prepared with a blend of off-white base constructions and pure white overlays while the treading is fashioned with bold yellow exteriors for a subtle pop.

The gallery above showcases a closer look at both offerings and you can expect them to officially release on Friday, December 23.
