The Japanese retailer has presented an impressive slew of collaborations this year. For example, atmos connected with Jordan Brand for a new Air Jordan 11, and it also unveiled an all-new 2002R “Oasis” iteration with New Balance. Now, atmos is continuing to build on its strong relationship with ASICS for a new collaborative GEL-LYTE III sneaker.
Earlier this month, atmos dropped its “Aged Map” shoe with ASICS and it merged a melange of brightly-colored hues to allow wears to be more connected with the earth. This time around, the shoe has been designed by Osaka-based reggae soundman, RED SPIDER.
As a well-known sneakerhead — who also runs his very own footwear Instagram page — RED SPIDER has worked closely with atmos to dress the GEL-LYTE III in a red and black color scheme, while bandana prints are spread across the split tongue, insoles, and many of the paneled overlays.
Additionally, the collaboration sees an all-new spider logo applied to the medial toe as an overall nod to RED SPIDER’s stage name.
You can take a closer look at the new atmos x ASICS x RED SPIDER collaboration above and it will be available on the official atmos Tokyo website from December 23.
In other news, atmos has also presented its “Lunar New Year” collection.
