adidas Is Set to Bring Back the YEEZY 500 Model Next Year
Without any YEEZY branding of course.

2022 was a troublesome year for adidas because it was forced to terminate its iconic partnership with Ye — the brand’s biggest collaborator — due to his anti-semitic comments and hurtful behavior. However, despite the fallout, the German sportswear company still owns the rights to all YEEZY-designed Three Stripes models and intends to continue launching them in the future. And one model that is scheduled to return in 2023 is the adidas YEEZY 500 in this neutral-heavy colorway.
Early leaked images of the pair reveal its lateral and medial walls, allowing us to see a sneak peek into its design details. Like many of the colorways that we’ve seen Ye drop in the past, versatile tones are applied to this offering. Mesh base constructions are formed with a brighter gray hue and are offset by creamy suede overlays and synthetic mudguards. Down below, the chiseled sole units that are stuffed with adiPrene cushioning are furnished with angelic finishes.
While we don’t have a view of the insoles just yet, you can expect to not see any YEEZY branding to indicate the conclusion of the seven-year relationship. Peep the gallery above to check out a closer look.
