Design and interior-focused magazine Apartamento has released its new book La Fábrica, which takes a look at Ricardo Bofill’s most famous creation.

The new book comes on the heels of Apartamento’s first La Fábrica book, which was released in 2018. But the new revised and extended work offers a more in-depth look at the Spanish architect’s crown jewel. International recognized a design marvel, La Fábrica was first a cement factory before Bofill transformed the space into a beautiful work of nature and urban design – serving as him home and headquarters of his practice, Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura.

The updated book looks at this transformation history of Bofill with both archival and original photography. Alongside the images is an interview with Ricardo Bofill and an introduction from his son Pablo Bofill. As the celebrated Spanish architect passed away in January of this year, the new book serves as both a celebration of La Fábrica and a tribute to Ricardo Bofill.

Take a peek at the book in the gallery above. Priced at 49,00 EUR (about $52 USD),  La Fábrica is available now online.
