Back in the 1980s, Reebok’s “BB” line made its debut, and now, one of the collection’s most popular sneakers, the BB4000 II, has made its return 40 years later.

With this in mind, the BB4000 II is now available in a slew of different colorways and they come a part of a new “Changing of the Guard” collection that taps into the legacies of both Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson.

The collection welcomes three different styles and they celebrate key some of the key and defining moments of both O’Neal and Iverson. For example, the “White/Black/Blue” iteration throws things back to Shaq’s rookie days, with the sneaker adorned in the club colors of the Orlando Magic. Furthermore, Reebok also pays homage to Iverson with the “Grey/White/Navy” and “Red/Blue/White” editions, as the former celebrates Iverson’s time in Philadelphia, while the latter takes inspiration from his popular alma matter.

Additionally, the sneakers are crafted with a leather upper, while suede fabrications take over the toe cap. Textile lining is also used to bring the paneled detailing together and a rubber cup sole and EVA drop in the midsole are used to increase overall comfortability.

You can take a closer look at the new “Changing of the Guard” collection above and it will be available on the official Reebok website and with select retailers from December 22.
