As the streetwear world gears up for the release of Patta x Experimental Jetset, the two have now announced the second part to their upcoming collection — a three-way collaboration that enlists Converse, taking on its seminally iconic Chuck 70 Hi.

Just like a good pair of Chucks should be, Patta and Experimental Jetset opt for a clean white canvas upper and foxing. However, this is where the traditional touches end. Across the sneaker you’ll find red and blue arrows, denoting a sense of free-flowing anti-direction as one wanders through the city. Evoking the energy of finding your own way through life, the arrows don’t adhere to what we’d usually expect from orderly directions, instead putting a psychogeographic twist on conventional metropolitan maps.

Sitting alongside screen-printed scripture reading “Patta Psychogeographic Practice,” we find medial sides decorated with the signature Converse All Star roundel and arrows clashing with North, South, East, West, Up, Down, Left, and Right pointing in the incorrect manner. But this is all intentional, echoing the motifs found in the duo’s apparel range.

Elsewhere, Experimental Jetset gets to take over the Converse license plate on the heel, while the tongue receives more screen-printing with two quotes, one of which reads “…to walk is to read — to read is to walk.” Completing the pair is the outsole that’s been dipped red and covered in more arrows, as well as dual-branded sock liners.

Naturally, you’ll be able to purchase the Patta x Experimental Jetset x Converse Chuck 70 Hi from Patta’s Chapter Stores around the globe, as well as online and on the Patta App on November 10 — the same day as the apparel’s release. Take a closer look at the pair above.
