Japanese menswear label SUGARHILL has teamed up with Converse for a textured, vintage-inspired take on the ALL STAR LGCY HI. Arriving in a subtle “Natural” colorway, the collaborative high-top reimagines the premium legacy silhouette with an emphasis on aging and distinct material evolution. The upper is constructed from SUGARHILL’s original cotton twill, woven with special E*Denim thread that allows faint glimpses of indigo blue to peek through the textured fabric. This unique textile approach is specifically designed to change expression over time, allowing the sneaker to develop natural color variations and a deeply personalized, lived-in character with everyday wear.
The aged character continues through details borrowed from vintage sneakers, including high-shine metal eyelets and a semi-translucent gum rubber outsole, whose warm amber tone sits against the cream-colored upper for a distinctly archival finish.
