HOKA expands its recovery-focused ORA PRIMO lineup with a new “Tidal Wave” colorway, bringing a cooler, more saturated treatment to the silhouette’s futuristic slip-on construction. The upper is rendered in a deep teal-blue shade that extends across the padded nylon body, collar and rope-style elastic lacing, while tonal stitching traces the shoe’s quilted paneling and curved overlays.
Black takes over the protective toe bumper and sculpted tooling underneath, giving the vivid upper a heavier visual base, while reflective details around the side logo, lace loops and heel subtly shift in appearance when hit by light. The contrast between softly padded nylon, textured overlays and matte-black rubber further emphasizes the ORA PRIMO’s exaggerated, almost outdoor-slipper-like proportions.
Originally developed as a closed-toe extension of HOKA’s ORA recovery family, the ORA PRIMO carries forward the range’s post-run comfort focus through a lightweight, heavily cushioned sole while adding more protection and coverage than the brand’s recovery slides.
