Patta x Experimental Jetset Asks You to Drift Through Life
Featuring confused directional signals that nod to a relaxed mindset.
Following its successful union with New Balance, Amsterdam-based imprint Patta has reunited with independent graphic design studio Experimental Jetset.
Standing on the motto “turning language into objects,” the studio focuses on abstract print work reflected in the collaborative capsule collection. Classic Patta essentials, including Coach Jackets, Hooded Sweaters, Graphic T-Shirts, and Crewnecks, are seen through Experimental Jetset’s psychogeographic lens. The duo asks you to sit back, relax, and wander through life via map-inspired graphics that boast confused directional signage.
The range approaches urban landscapes with an explorational eye and sees twisted arrows left, right, and center. “STILL THE MODERN WORLD” is printed throughout the garments, signaling an easygoing drifting mentality. Descriptive text hops from look to look fashioned in neutral tones, while “Pattaville” city maps unite the world’s top destinations.
