G-SHOCK Launches Limited-Edition Super Mario Bros. Watch

G-SHOCK has teamed up with Super Mario Bros. for a new limited-edition watch. Featuring its DW-5600SMB model, the collaboration brings the watchmaker’s rugged style to the renowned game title.
Appearing in shades of Mario red, gold and sky blue, the watch channels the original style of the 1980s game. Evoking nostalgia, the watch’s bezel and dial come in Mario red, the strap features a multicolored 8-bit graphic design and the watch’s face comes in sky blue with a green turtle.
Uniting two popular Japanese forces, the collaboration also comes complete with a Super Mario Bros.-themed tin and a matching box – both serving as collector’s items alongside the timepiece.
Retailing for $150 USD, the G-SHOCK x Super Mario Bros releases on November 11 online, at G-SHOCK’s Soho store and with select retailers. However, the watch is available now for pre-order online.
