Official Images of the Air Jordan 5 "Racer Blue"
Uppers come designed with stealthy suedes and clear netting.
The Air Jordan 5 has made its official debut to the sneaker market back in 1990 and has impressed the world with many a different colorway. In 2022, we’re going to see the Tinker-designed silhouette get brought to the fore in modernized palettes, one of which is the Air Jordan 5 “Racer Blue” whose official images have just been loaded up by Nike.
Straying away from the usual leather materials that are utilized on the upper, this particular iteration forms most of its base layer with suede and douses in it a solid black hue. Netting — which is found on the mid-foot and beneath the shoe laces — is whipped up with its usual see-through appearance and the tongues are styled with a reflective coating. “Racer Blue” accents are distributed to various parts of the kicks including the Jumpman logos on the tongues and lower heels, the lace toggles and the midsole pieces. Spiky embellishments on the midsoles arrive with a stealthy paint job and the treading is presented with an icy blue tint.
If interested in adding these to your rotation, you can find them dropping on on February 12 for $210 USD via Nike.
