Official Look at the Air Jordan 12 "Playoffs"
MJ’s classic colorway returns during NBA All-Star Weekend.
It’s been 25 years since Jordan Brand debuted the Air Jordan 12, and this year, the silhouette is going to be launching in a multitude of colorways both old and new alike. One of the offerings that is being reintroduced is the Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” which will be making its return to the market for the first time since 2012. Official images have now surfaced onto our radar, revealing all of the shoe’s classic details.
Original design cues are brought back to the forefront for this retro launch. The uppers are devised with the model’s signature two-toned theme as a black tumbled leather makes up the tongues and base layer while the scaly mudguards are dripped in white. There are various branded elements on the shoes. Jumpman logos are pasted to the tongues in Bulls-inspired red and come debossed onto the metallic silver lace stays near the collar, and “TWO 3” arrives embroidered onto the throat. For the rear end, the customary Jordan banners run down the spine and the Jumpman-adorned tabs and “23” hits are styled in red.
You can find this colorway releasing during NBA All-Star Weekend come February 19. Looking to get a pair for yourself now? Head over to GOAT to cop yours.
