JUUN.J Takes Off With a First Class Flight to Your New FW22 Obsession
Serving airport lounge coziness crossed with aviation gear for fits inspired by ’60s jet-setters and pop stars.

Korean designer JUUN.J is jet-set for domination following its Fall/Winter 2022 collection debut. Coming as part of Paris Fashion Week‘s online offering, the “JUUN.JSET” collection sees the designer’s latest garments take over Incheon international airport while being accompanied by Montblanc luggage.
This season, JUUN.J looks towards a future of traveling without restrictions, drawing influence from the jet-setters of the ’60s and ’70s, “as well as pop-star styles that represent newness and youth,” to serve mile high club chicness. The result doesn’t immediately scream of aviation, rather serving looks more reminiscent of the moments before you step onto your private jet, as one does.
However, this elevated take on cozy apparel — we’re looking at the extensive use of quilting for FW22 — is combined with reworked takes on classics such as the CWU-8/P military parka. It’s bigger than ever before, accentuated with larger pockets, broader shoulders, and an elongated cut that’s become a signature of JUUN.J, while a padded piece underneath (whether in the form of a coat or extras such as a maxi-dress, skirt, MA-1 jacket or hoodies) continue to work the jet-set feeling.
Over-dyeing and blue denim as point colors inform a palette of black, brown, and deep green, which further lend themselves to the overall aviation theme that runs throughout the FW22 offering. Take a look at the campaign in the video and gallery above, and expect the collection to launch on JUUN.J’s website and at select stockists worldwide later this year.
Elsewhere, HYPEBEAST will be streaming NIGO’s debut Kenzo show this Sunday.
