It’s been a busy start to the week in terms of upcoming Air Jordan releases from Jordan Brand: yesterday we saw on-foot shots of the Air Jordan 1 “Hand Crafted,” and today we’ve been given an in-hand look at the women’s Air Jordan 4 “Shimmer.” An elegant tan and white style that calls to mind images of Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White™ x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” sans the zip tie and special detailing, the “Shimmer” offers a neutral fall palette and premium construction.

Nubuck uppers are coated in a soft khaki shade that’s accented by semi-translucent eyestays and “wings” plus white netted detailing on the quarter and throat. Tongues feature a metallic silver Jumpman, and heels use workboot-like wheat for their plastic badge and tab. Two lace options (white and soft pink) are available, and white collar lining adds a further touch of airy detail. Down below, midsoles are split between peanut butter brown and white, with a plain gray Air unit in the heel and tan-tinted icy outsoles serving up a slightly aged look.

The Air Jordan 4 “Shimmer” will reportedly release on September 3 and be priced at $190 USD, though both of these pieces of information are pending official confirmation from Nike.
