Montblanc Adds a Splash of Shocking Pink For Charity Auction
Pink Dial Project aims to raise money to fight breast cancer.
Montblanc has developed a unique watch with a shocking pink dial to be auctioned off to raise funds for breast cancer charities.
Part of the Pink Dial Project, the Montblanc will be auctioned off with other unique watches from Bulgari, IWC, Zenith, Panerai and MB&F among other participants in October on new auction platform, Loupe This, being launched by renowned watch collector, Eric Ku.
The 1858 Geosphere Pink Dial Unique Piece features a 42mm black DLC titanium case with sunray finish fuchsia pink dial and was assembled by a female watchmaker at Montblanc. SuperLuminova is also used to add luminescence to the compass point etched into the bezel, the indices and hemispheres, which glow blue while the hours, minutes and second timezone light up green.
While 100% of the funds raised have been earmarked for breast cancer charities in the US, UK, Singapore, Holland, Switzerland and Australia winning bidders may also elect any recognised breast cancer charity in the world.
The Montblanc 1858 Geospheres design features two distinctive turning hemispheres domes, which display the time anywhere in the world simultaneously.
