Jahan Loh Celebrates G-SHOCK's Steel "CasiOak" With Futuristic Animated Short
Featuring a GM-2100-wearing astronaut.
In celebration of one of G-SHOCK‘s most popular models in recent years, Singaporean contemporary artist Jahan Loh has once again teamed up with the Japanese watchmaker, this time creating an animated short of a futuristic Singapore featuring the now fan-favorite “CasiOak” with a stainless steel construction.
Worn by the adventuring astronaut in the animation is G-SHOCK’s GM-2100B-4ADR, a “CasiOak” encased in stainless steel around a vibrant red digital-analog dial. The range itself comes in four different colors, including a full steel and silver model, a navy model with a blue-toned steel case, and a green dialed model with a matching green rubber strap. All four variants share the same specifications, including the brand’s signature shock resistance, double LED lighting, stopwatch and countdown timer functions, 48 different city timezones, an alarm feature, and water resistance of up to 200 meters.
Check out Loh’s animated short in the video above, and learn more about the new stainless steel “CasiOaks” over on G-SHOCK’s website.
Elsewhere in watches, Bravur has finally completed its cycling chronograph trilogy with the La Vuelta.
