4DIMENSION® and GOOPiMADE Investigate "Topology" With a Capsule Collection
A fitting union between the Taiwanese labels.
Connecting over a mutual exploration of technical wares, Taiwanese labels 4DIMENSION® and GOOPiMADE have developed a capsule collection, titled “Topology.”
The title serves as a metaphor for the names as the essence of the imprints are preserved under continuous deformations to approach a state of homeomorphism. Examining how human behavior interacts with time-space geography, the special range is designed with a function-driven, deconstructionist approach. Questioning the established “Urban Outdoor philosophy to spur a continuing conversation between 4DIMENSION® and GOOPiMADE that strives to achieve a balance in garments that meets the framework of daily “functional wear.”
Leading the capsule collection is the FD-J4 Mesh Utility Jacket and matching FD-S2 Mesh Utility Shorts constructed of a TEFLON® treated C6 water-repellent checked-print fabric. The garments introduce the relaxed silhouettes riddled with technical detail theme of collaboration. The jacket features detachable sleeves and a breathable zippered mesh panel, while the shorts are outfitted with an adjustable waistband and eight total compartments.
Aside from the range of T-shirts, rounding up the capsule are the multi-compartment rucksack and shoulder bag. Constructed of lightweight, wear-resistance water-repellent fabric, the carrying options feature a convertible exterior panel, mesh side compartments and hooks for convenient dual carry.
