Air Jordan 6's Retro "Midnight Navy" Colorway Makes a Return
Two decades later.
Jordan Brand has looked through its archives and dusted off one of its classic colorways. The retro Air Jordan 6 “Midnight Navy,” originally released in the year 2000, is making its way back.
The shoe, with its bulky hi-top mold, features smooth eggshell-toned leather uppers complemented by a handful of contrasting details. Starting at the top of the shoe is a black tongue, subtly embossed with “Air Jordan” branding, followed by an embroidered Jumpman logo placed directly below it and on the heel. The rest of the uppers are kept tonal in a light cream shade, while other details like perforations, geometric panels and a two-toned midsole — with “Midnight Navy” and semi-translucent highlights — round off the shoe’s vintage design.
The Air Jordan 6 “Midnight Navy” will be available on November 26 on Nike’s website for $190 USD. Early pairs can also be had now at aftermarket sites like GOAT.
