ASICS' GEL-Kayano 14 Receives "Mako Blue" and "Piedmont Grey" Makeovers
A nod to the storied GEL-Kayano series.
ASICS‘s GEL-Kayano 14 have been given two solid colorways. Coming in “Mako Blue” and “Piedmont Grey,” the new iterations are lively renditions of the silhouette compared to the monochromatic renditions seen in January.
Starting at the top of the shoe is a thin “ASICS” patch logo placed over the tongue. Most of the shoe’s uppers are constructed in mesh, complemented by a handful of suede panels covering the heel, sidewalls, eyelets, and toebox. Glossy rubber side stripes are placed over the shoe’s body, while “GEL-Kayano 14” branding appears around the rear quarter. All of these details rest over a cream-colored midsole equipped with GEL technology for optimal comfort and support.
ASICS’ GEL-Kayano 14 “Mako Blue” and “Piedmont Grey” are currently available on the label’s website for $140 USD.
